Description
Painter, draughtsman, and print artist, Georges Henri Rouault work is often associated with Fauvism and Expressionism. His use of colour and form is fluid and expressive; as a painter he captured the world as he saw it, though soft brush strokes and minimal colour pallet. This poster from 1964 is an excellent example of his talent as an artist and image maker.
