“Inspired by the work of Jackson Pollock, Hantaï would lay un-stretched canvas on the floor, fold and knot it before painting onto the crumpled surface. When unfolded, unpainted areas contrast with heavily coated sections in scattered planes.”
This poster is in good condition, it has been printed onto thick paper. There are some signs of age including slight discolouration around the edges of the poster.
